Important Reminder for Families: Please Complete the Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application

Even though New York State now provides Universal Free School Meals, meaning all students can receive breakfast and lunch at school at no cost, it is still extremely important that families complete the Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application (Family Income Inquiry Form) each year.

This form helps our school identify students who qualify for additional financial assistance and ensures that eligible students receive access to valuable benefits beyond school meals. Please return this form to the front office by Friday October 9th

Families who qualify may be eligible for:

📚 College & Career Readiness Benefits

• SAT & ACT Fee Waivers: Eligible juniors and seniors can receive fee waiver codes through their school counselors to take college entrance exams at no cost.
• AP & IB Exam Fee Assistance: Eligible students receive significant reductions in AP and IB exam fees, with AP exam costs reduced to as little as $22 per exam.
• College Application Fee Waivers:Eligible students may qualify for:
  • Free SUNY application fees for up to seven campus choices.
  • CUNY application fee waivers.
  • College application fee waivers for participating private and out-of-state colleges through programs such as the College Board, Common Application, and NACAC.

🎭 Extracurricular & Activity Support
Depending on district policies, eligibility may help families receive assistance with costs such as:

• Athletic participation fees
• Sports equipment or required gear
• Music instrument rental fees
• Other school-related expenses

💻 Technology & Internet Assistance
Eligibility documentation may also help families qualify for certain broadband discounts, digital equity programs, and technology assistance opportunities.

Completing the form is quick, confidential, and helps ensure that our students have access to every opportunity available to them. Even if your child already receives free meals at school, submitting this form may provide additional benefits that support their academic success and future goals.
