Dear Parent(s) and/or Guardian(s):


The purpose of this letter is to update you with some additional specifics regarding the end-of-year activities as outlined in my May 7th letter.


Again, our graduation is planned for Friday, June 25, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. 


Thursday, June 10th

NHS Service Project - K-6  Field Day (1 p.m.  - 2:30 p.m.)

Rain Date - June 11th


Thursday, June 17th

Full-Day of school for all K-12

ELA Regents administered in the morning beginning at 8:15 a.m.

Student Council - Field Day (1:00 p.m. 2:30 p.m.)


Friday, June 18th

NO SCHOOL - Recognition of Juneteenth (Holiday)



Elementary Students:

  • On Monday, June 21st through Thursday, June 24th all of our elementary students in grades Kdg - 6 will be in attendance, and will be dismissed at 12:25 p.m.


  • On Friday, June 25th All students in grades K-12 will be in attendance that day and will be dismissed at approximately 10:30 a.m.

Monday, June 21st

  • Grade 8 and Grade 10 (LOTE Checkpoint A and Checkpoint B assessment in morning)
  • No students in grades7, 9, 11, and 12 will be in attendance.
  • Dismissal at 12:25 p.m. for elementary students and grade 8 and grade 10.


Tuesday, June 22nd 

All K-12 students NEED to be in attendance

No Living Environment Assessment being administered.

Academic Honors Banquet/Ice Cream for eligible students in grades 5-12 (outside under tent) 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

  • Parents are welcome to attend (masks to be worn; socially distanced)
  • Dismissal at 12:25 p.m.


Wednesday, June 23rd

Algebra I Regents at 8:15 a.m.;  no other 7-12 students will be in attendance.


Thursday, June 24th

Physical Setting/Earth Science Regents at 8:15 a.m.; no other 7-12 students will be in attendance.


Friday, June 25th


At 8:30 a.m. our Elementary (K-6) Awards Day ceremony will occur outside under the tent.

Parents are welcome to attend too.  Masks and social distancing will be required.


At 9:00 a.m. our grades 7-12 students will do their traditional moving up ceremony.

Parents are welcome to attend too.  Masks and social distancing will be required.


At 11:00 a.m. our seniors will have a graduation rehearsal.


At 12:00 noon our seniors will have their traditional picnic following rehearsal.
