FAMILY & CONSUMER SCIENCE
Family and Consumer Sciences is a 40-week BDF Day Technology designed to teach students practical solutions found by people and integrated into the daily affairs of societies. It is associated with material objects that work and is seen as the product of skillful human activity such as inventing, designing, making and constructing. It has to do with people making things, supporting or enhancing relevant needs in their lives. Examples of these needs are: nutrition, clothing, shelter, communication and health; all are areas that we touch in FACS.
If you do not participate you will fail.
Participation grades will be entered daily.
Includes following directions, participating in daily activities, following classroom rules, cleaning up.
Cleaning up after yourself is part of your daily participation grade.
